Description
A leading law firm is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join their dynamic litigation practice that spans commercial disputes, regulatory matters, white-collar defense, and personal injury. The position is fully on site in Newark, New Jersey.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of conflicts experience at a law firm
- Skilled communicator who works well with attorneys and support staff
- Comfortable managing sensitive data and navigating legal conflicts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Intapp Conflicts or Aderant is a plus
- Open to working outside standard hours when needed
What You’ll Do
- Conduct research to identify potential conflicts for new clients and matters
- Review and process client intake forms to ensure policy compliance
- Maintain and update the conflicts database with accurate, organized data
- Respond to attorney and staff inquiries regarding conflicts and matter status
- Support ongoing improvements to intake procedures and risk controls
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, and document review
What Success Looks Like
- Conflict checks and intakes are completed accurately and on time
- Legal teams receive prompt, helpful support
- Potential risks are flagged early and handled appropriately
- Data systems are reliable, clean, and up to date
Salary Range: $60,000 – 90,000 annually, based on experience
Location: Newark, NJ – On site
