🌟 Media Director
Location: Hybrid – NYC
Our client is a growing independent media agency that seamlessly integrates brand and performance media to drive scalable growth for top brands. Conventional approaches aren’t enough for them—their category insights, data, and expert media strategy fuel standout, out-of-the-box results. These roles will work across CPG, Banking, eCommerce, and Telehealth/Teletherapy, supporting high-profile brands. With growing account demand, they are expanding their Client Solutions leadership team.
They are hiring a Media Director to drive multi-channel media strategy, buying, and optimization for high-profile campaigns, managing $2M+ budgets and mentoring planners and buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop holistic media strategies connecting brand objectives to performance outcomes.
- Lead planning and execution across TV, Digital, Retail Media, CRM, traditional, and emerging channels.
- Present recommendations and insights to C-level stakeholders, diving into campaign specifics while confidently leading senior-level client communications.
- Mentor, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage data to optimize multi-step consumer journeys and performance.
What They’re Looking For
- Director: 8+ years in media planning/buying (3+ in leadership), strong negotiation, optimization, and analytics skills; hands-on with Google Ads, Meta, The Trade Desk.
- Knowledge of DTC, OTC, CPG, retail media, CTV, audio streaming, social commerce, CRM, and telehealth a plus.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.

Compensation:
- $135K–$150K base + competitive benefits
