Location: Fully Remote (WeWork access included)
Compensation: $150K–$200K annually, based on experience + Commissions + Bonus

A dynamic, independent marketing and communications firm is looking for a Managing Director to oversee and grow its new business efforts. With a reputation for innovation and impact in industries like finance, tech, and real estate, the firm delivers results-driven strategies across public relations, content, digital, and social media. What You’ll Do
As the firm’s chief growth architect, you’ll be responsible for:
- Designing and executing a full-funnel business development strategy
- Managing inbound interest and proactively sourcing new opportunities
- Representing the firm at major industry events
- Building strategic partnerships and elevating the agency’s market positioning
- Collaborating with leadership to refine proposals and close high-value deals
- Supporting organic growth within existing accounts
- Overseeing CRM hygiene, reporting, and pipeline forecasting
What You Bring
We’re looking for a seasoned business development executive with:
- 15+ years experience in generating new business within communications/PR, within an agency environment
- A proven track record of originating client relationships, driving revenue and closing complex deals
- Deep familiarity with PR services (media relations, content, social, awards)
- A strong network and domain expertise in finance, fintech, and insurtech
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
