Company recently secured a substantial equity investment from Berkshire Partners, a firm with over 35 years of investment experience and deep sector expertise in technology and communications. The investment is being used to evolve company's intuitive technology platform, expand its product and service portfolio and accelerate its direct investments in the industry's top-producing sales agencies. To date, the company has acquired over 34 independent agencies to become the largest and fastest-growing agency in the technology industry.

The Director, Demand Generation will orchestrate company’s demand generation strategy & execution via scalable testing & management of a team to efficiently scale revenue at an important phase of their growth to help scale company’s market expansion and revenue growth objectives.

Collaborating closely with the executive team and the SVP of Marketing, this role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and performance analytics to execute integrated campaigns aligned with company’s unified demand generation strategy.

 

Role Details 

  • Oversee orchestration of demand generation strategy & execution via a combination of hands on testing & management of junior team members to meet revenue & MQL targets efficiently.
  • Via coordinated design & implementation of scalable tests, develop statistically significant data to better define company’s addressable market & measures LTV-to-CAC ratios.
  • Work closely w Lifecycle Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales & Customer Experience teams to drive qualified leads & revenue.
  • Strategize & optimize channel strategies across Paid Search, Display, Social Media, Email, Video, Marketing Automation, & AI.
  • Manage internal teams & external vendors, ensuring campaign alignment with overall conversion strategy.
  • Use advanced analytics to derive actionable insights, optimize campaign performance, & reallocate budgets effectively.
  • Support leadership in collecting data to inform investor value proposition and presentations.

 

Screening Criteria 

  • 7-10 years developing/executing high performing demand generation programs
    1. Played a meaningful role driving growth for earlier stage companies (ideally through Series A–C) – Required
    1. targeting long sales cycle B2B buyers  – Preferred
    1. within new markets with uncertain addressable markets  – Preferred
    1. within advisory service, marketplace or brokerage businesses  – Preferred
    • Familiarity w IT channel ecosystems, SaaS, & technology solutions – Preferred
  • 5+ years’ creating & scaling high performing, multi-channel demand generation campaign strategies, leveraging Paid Search, Display, Social Media, Email, Video, Marketing Automation & AI.
  • 3+ years leading internal teams & external vendors in the efficient delivery of Paid Search, Display, Social Media, Email, Video, ensuring activations support holistic conversion strategy & performs against KPIs.
  • Expertise using marketing automation tools such as Act-On, HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot to segment audiences, measure campaign performance to nurture & convert leads.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, to track & nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret & derive actionable insights from complex data sets using Google Analytics, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Experience crafting & delivering data-driven presentations to executive teams and investors reporting on campaign performance & make compelling recommendations for scale.
  • Experience managing/optimizing growing marketing budgets, ensuring strategic allocation to maximize campaign performance & meet qualified lead targets.
  • Strong communicator, capable of crafting compelling, actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable balancing strategy & hands-on execution.

 

Compensation: 160-190k+ base salary range + generous bonus + benefits
