Our client, a storied NYC law firm, is seeking a Conference Center Coordinator to serve as the initial point of contact for all clients or guests. The position is based 5 days a week at their lovely office in Midtown, Manhattan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests/clients in a welcoming manner and make sure their needs are tended to proactively and properly
  • Reply to requests with a high level of client service support as well as assisting with any administrative needs
  • Review reports and requests throughout the day; make sure that all changes are documented and followed up on, as needed
  • Manage conference room activity using various forms of communication with department management
  • Organize and communicate special needs to requests to the correct team members
  • Handle interactions with a high level of hosts that request conference rooms when none are available
  • Address issues with partners, clients, or guests
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience of reception and/or conference service experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience with conference room booking software
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Rendezvous or similar room reservation system
  • Customer-service driven, sense of urgency to complete requests
  • Organizational, follow-up, and trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-faced environment and maintain calm and professional under pressure
  • Demonstrated Ability to collaborate, analyze, problem-solve, quickly and accurately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong listening and questioning skills

Pay Rate: $29 - $30 per hour based on experience
